The posts are up, the lines are marked and the days are getting longer ... footy is in the air! This month we head off to compete in the Dragon Cup at Cardiff where we aim to take down reigning champions the West London Wildcats and we host the GB national teams at Peckham Rye. Training is in full swing both under lights at Sacred Heart and on Saturdays at Peckham Rye. Plenty coming up:

  • 3rd-5th March (Weekend): Pre-season Cup @ Cardiff

  • 18th March (Saturday): Great Britain vs All Stars @ Peckham Rye

  • 30th March (Thursday): Final session @ Sacred Heart

  • 4th April (Tuesday): Regular weekly training @ Peckham Rye

  • 6th April (Thursday): Regular weekly training @ Peckham Rye

  • 1st April 15th April (Saturday): Season Launch Party [NEW DATE]

  • 22nd April (Saturday): Round 1 @ Peckham Rye - both teams in action

🚨 2023 Fixtures: The fixtures are out and you can see the full season on our website so start blocking those Saturdays out. Don't forget about finals too!

🏆 Pre-Season Cup: Just a few sleeps until we complete at the Dragon Cup hosted by the Cardiff Panthers in Cardiff, Wales. Keep an eye on our socials to track our progress both on and off the field - some big plans for the after party and matching outfits you won't want to miss.

🏈 Training: Thursday evening at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Southwark under lights will continue until the 30th March alongside Saturday sessions at Peckham Rye. Once we hit April and Daylight Savings we will move to a Tuesday & Thursday training schedule at Peckham Rye starting from 4th April. While we want to see you both nights, Thursday night team selections will be announced as we get in to the season and there will be a number of post-training activities including food, AFL match of the week viewings, raffles, beers and much more.

🦢 GB Swans & Bulldogs: We welcome the GB national teams to Peckham on 18th March and will be forming All-Star teams with representatives from all of the teams in London to take them on. If you would like to play for the All-Stars reach out to your coaches Joe or Browny to discuss further. We will need a bunch of volunteers, cheer-leaders and beer drinkers on the day so please mark this in the calendar. Our very own Susie Carr, Emma Brookes and Lucy Massie will be starring for GB as well as our players representing the All-Stars so plenty of Giants to cheer on.

🥳 Season Launch Party: Turns out it was an April fools after all and the actual date will be the 15th April instead! More on this soon but keep the date free, we will be kicking off the season in style.
