Round 6: Giants Men's vs Sussex Swans
After an incredible victory by our women's team the men knew they needed to step up and bring home the Community Cup. And step up they did! A hotly contested affair saw us kick some early goals but responses from Sussex kept the scores tight. It was a tense encounter throughout the first 3 quarters but the Giants defence held strong making opportunities difficult for Sussex to generate. The final quarter saw us pull away and kick some big goals to eventually cruise to a well earned victory and ensuring the second piece of silverware for the season came home with the Giants.
