Following on from our women's team, the lads had to do a job against an always competitive Wildcats team. We hadn't recorded a victory at Dukes Meadow for as long as this coach can remember and in slippery conditions it was always going to be a hard assignment. But not for this group, kicking away early and then holding on through some nervy moments with the wind making this difficult to get out of defence. A late goal sealed it and made it 2 from 2 on the field and the boat races 2 from 2 off the field in another clean sweep for the Giants. Great form heading towards finals.
