Our first Friday night fixture and the weather turned it on for us (finally)! With a few having to livestream from Glastonbury it was always going to be a challenge against the undefeated women's premiership team but in typical Giants style, this didn't daunt us one bit.
Wildcats started strong kicking the opening goal after sustained pressure. Giants were immense in defence despite the ball spending a lot of time in our defensive 50. The second half was a massive turnaround and we held them to just the one goal while mounting plenty of forward pressure of our own. Another tremendous result and some brilliant debut performances on field!
