A huge result for our women in round 1 against the Premiership side North London Lions. A very close contest with both teams well matched across the park but some massive efforts through the midfield and strong rucking from Chloe Sharman set the foundation for huge forward pressure trapping the Lions deep in their defensive zone for long periods. The pressure ultimately presenting the opportunity for a close range goal from Lydia Rimmington along with sausage rolls from Karli Smith and Alex Stephens to ensure the W and puts us top of the table after week 1.
